I was introduced to the sport of disc golf back in 2021 when I went back home with remote work and visited several friends from college. On one of the days they had mentioned we were going to playing disc golf and it would be 3 vs 3. Being a competitive person like I am, I was all for it. We played at Laurelain Disc Golf Course, and I honestly had no idea of what to expect. My friend just handed me a disc and told me we were throwing to a basket, and I was like alright! I threw mostly forehand for a majority of the round as I used to play baseball and seemed more a natural motion to me. I don't remember what discs I was throwing, but I'll always remember my friend mentioning about the numbers and how someday I would know what they would mean. Lets just say, he was spot on! Shortly after I had a bag and a set of discs, and the rest is history!"
