I wanted to try this putter because I really dig some of the new Lat 64 Royal line discs. This disc follows a pretty straight flight path, which I prefer. The rim is just a bit deeper than I like, but not excessively deep. The new Latitude 64 Royal Grand plastic is fantastic for drivers and mids, but Royal Grand plastic is a bit hard for a putter in my opinion. The Royal Grand plastic has some trouble holding the chains, and I have had a few frustrating spit-outs that would have probably held with softer plastic. I also purchased this mold in Royal Sense plastic, which is a bit more understable and holds the chains better because the plastic is softer. The Sense plastic I received has a small bead on the rim, not found on the Grand plastic, which I personally do not like. Overall, the Royal Grand Hope is a nice putter that I will use in windy conditions, but it will not replace my Warden for now.
