I live and die by the forehand. I have a 171 and a 173. The Phoenix is quite overstable and performs amazingly for a power flex. I love it! This will rest nicely between my Diamondback and my Goat. Flight numbers be damned.
Brian throws a firebird thumber like a boss. Side by side, the performance was quite different. He was not pleased with the disc as a thumber. The jury is still out from my standpoint.
All in all, this disc is a lot of fun to throw. The eternal plastic is always delightful. I am looking forward seeing more beautiful flights.
