Introducing the Shorebreak from 3rd Coast Discs - the result of two years of research and development. We've combined the best features of a throwing approach disc with the feel and depth of a putting putter to create a versatile overstable putter. The Shorebreak resists torque, offering a consistent straight flight and a predictable fade. This means that it can handle any amount of power you put behind it, even in windy conditions. When thrown softly, the Shorebreak is highly controllable, ensuring that it lands precisely where you want it to. With its comfortable feel and predictable overstability, it's an excellent choice for putting as well as approaching the basket and throwing off the tee box.

Our Totality line is meticulously crafted from ultra-premium industrial-grade rubber, utilizing a unique compression molding technique. This process ensures unparalleled durability and performance, surpassing conventional golf discs. The use of top-tier materials provides exceptional weather resistance, tensile strength, and abrasion resistance, while the tacky grip remains secure even in wet conditions. The compression molding imparts memory to the disc, allowing it to return to its original shape and maintain flight stability, even after high-impact throws. Engineered to absorb energy on impact, this disc minimizes bounce and delivers a ‘stickier’ response when hitting chains or obstacles, ensuring confidence with every shot.

Since all of our discs are made using ultra premium materials with varying hardness. We use the Durometer "A" scale to measure the firmness of the Shorebreak, which allows us to be consistent describing the stiffness of each blend across our entire lineup. The Durometer A scale ranges from 0 to 100, with higher numbers indicating greater hardness. Our discs range from 81 to 97 o the scale. Below are benchmarks describing what you can expect from a disc at each durometer.

97A - (Firm): This ultra-premium material is the firmest in our lineup. This 97A material is stiff in the hand but has excellent energy absorption. It stops quickly upon impact, whether it hits the ground, an object, or even the chains. If you prefer a firmer putter with a lot of forgiveness, you'll love the 97A material.

91A - (Medium): This is firmer than our 86A, but it feels gummy and offers excellent energy absorption. It has all the firmness to retain its shape and hold up well during throws. If you prefer soft putters and need a disc with a lot of forgiveness, you'll love the Durometer 91 material.

86A - (Soft):

81A - (Super Soft): Our Durometer 81A material represents the softest option available. While incredibly pliable, it retains enough firmness to maintain its shape during throws. With outstanding energy absorption and forgiving qualities, the 81A material is perfect for those who prefer the softest putters.

Putter of putters

This putter is great. I'm able to perform anny putts now and has built up my confidence with 30 ft putts. It has saved me from roll aways and is an all around great disc! Highly recommended.

Great Putter

I have a few rounds under my belt with the Durometer 90 and love it. Let's face it, we're all not pro level at putting but this disc does help lower scores. It's forgiving when it hits the chains, predictable slight fade and doesn't bounce or roll away into deep C2 territory. Also it's a very good approach disc too that won't skip past the target. First round out of the box with no warmups with it, shot my best round at local course and alot of it had to do with this putter. Get one. Period.

Found: The Missing Link

Well, I was finally able to give the Shorebreak some throws up and down the street.
I think I am going to paint a face on it and give it a name. It feels like shaking hands with an old friend that I know I can trust.
Pitched through the air, it holds hyzer and anti-hyzer and alway lays down where it lands. Like a well trained dog, it lies awaiting my next command.
The Shorebreak is an excellent approach disc that can take a lot of power with both fore and backhand. Expect very little fade at any speed. It is an aim and shoot tool for the course.
It can be a little wonky for putting with its softer top. However, it is very sticky and grabs chains.

WARNING: The Shorebreak can cause conflict between spouses due to the constant need of the possessor to flick the Shorebreak into the air and catch it. The Shorebreak’s impeccable balance observed in the air and the grippiness felt as it skids to a stop in the hand is delightful.
